Life Moves On For Fayetteville Realtor Shot Three Times

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — It has been just over a year since a Fayetteville real estate agent was shot while showing property to a man she thought was a potential client. During that time, Kathleen Yaggi found a way to move forward.

"If you can't laugh at it, you can't do anything," Yaggi said. "It'll haunt me for the rest of my life, and I'm not going to let that happen."

As proof, Yaggi placed three magnetic bullet holes on the side of her car and now markets herself as bulletproof.

Yaggi was shot three times last June. She recovered fully.

The suspect, June McCoy, tried to kill himself shortly afterwards. He survived, and is being evaluated at Dorothea Dix Hospital.
