RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh woman was arrested Monday in connection with a fatal stabbing on Friday, police said.
Kimberly Claire Johnson, 28, is charged with murder in connection with the death of Cynthia Joan Edwards.
Edwards, 46, was found slain Friday evening inside her home on Seawell Avenue, east of downtown. She had been stabbed several times, police said.
Johnson and Edwards knew one another, police said, noting the crime wasn't a random act.
