Reward Offered for Information About Durham Home Invasion

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police are asking for information about a home invasion that occurredThursday afternoon at Oak Tree Apartments, 1212 West Chapel Hill Street.

Police said two men pushed their way into an apartment shortly after 12:30 p.m. androbbed the resident of cash at gunpoint. A toddler was pushed to the groundduring the incident, but was not seriously injured.

The two men fled in a red, 2-door car with a North Carolina license plate.

One suspect was described as a black male, approximately 25 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall with a small beard. The second suspect was described as ablack male, 20 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall and wearing a blue doo-rag. Both men were wearing white T-shirts and dark blue jeans.
