Tenth Juror Selected For Mike Peterson Trial

Posted Updated

DURHAM, N.C. — Another juror has been selected for the Mike Peterson trial.

The prosecution and defense attorneys have agreed on the 10th juror, a black female who works at a department store. Juror No. 10's daughter reportedly works at Nortel, the same place Kathleen Peterson worked before her death.

Another potential juror was dismissed for cause because his wife is facing a felony trial.

So far, there are two men and eight women on the jury, of which three are white and seven are African-American.

Mike Peterson is charged with the death of his wife at their Durham home in December 2001.
