Woman Charged With Robbery After Being Denied Refund For Underwear Purchase

Investigators say Mary Jones bought a package of underwear. When she got home, she noticed the bag was torn open.

Jones took the package to her son in the county jail. But jail policy doesn't allow inmates to receive open packages.

When Jones tried to return the underwear to the store for a refund, the clerk told her they couldn't help her. That's when Jones allegedly pulled a pistol out of her purse.
