Durham Police Investigate Bank Robbery

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police are looking for a man who robbed the RBC Centura bank at 2101 Guess Road Wednesday.

According to police, the man entered the bank around 1:45 p.m., handed a teller a note and demanded money. The man fled in a white car with an undisclosed amount of money.

Witnesses described the suspect as a white male, 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tallwith a medium build and dark curly hair. He reportedly was clean-shaven, wearing a white shirt and dark pants.

Investigators said they are trying to determine if the suspect is the same man whorobbed the Bank of America at 3807 N. Duke St. on Tuesday.

CrimeStoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,200. The North Carolina Bankers' Association is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
