RALEIGH, N.C. — With assistance from the U.S. Marshal's office, the Wake County Sheriff's Office arrested murder suspect Thomas Junior Johnson about 8:30 p.m. Sunday at a home in downtown Raleigh.
According to investigators, deputies received a call of a disturbance at 10502 Robinson Ave. around 9:30 p.m. Saturday and then received later calls of a shooting at the same address.
When deputies arrived, they discovered a black male, deceased, with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was identified as Amin Duncan Harding, 24, of Garner.
The suspect, identified as Johnson, allegedly fled the scene in a silver Dodge Stratus, which was later recovered. He was arrested at a home off Davie Street.
Johnson has been charged with first-degree murder.
