<b>JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C</b> — A Johnston County man is wanted for attempted murder after deputies say he pinned his ex-wife between two vehicles Wednesday night.

The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. near Covered Bridge Road in Johnston County.

Officials said Janise Whitlesey, 32, of Knightdale, was visiting her son when she got into a dispute with her ex-husband, James Finley Burks III.

Burks, 33, then allegedly drove towards Whitlesey, pinning her against another car.

Whitlesey was released from WakeMed on Sunday.
