FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A local mother is accused of child abuse in a real-life case of "Home Alone."
Fayetteville police say 22-year-old Tiffany Miles left 3-year-old twins and a 2-year-old child alone in her apartment.
A probation officer discovered the situation when he came by the home to check on her. Police have not said where Miles was or how long the children were alone.
Miles' mother is now taking care of the children.
Miles is out of jail on three misdemeanor counts of child abuse.
