GOLDSBORO, N.C. — A Goldsboro man is behind bars after being accused of trying to poison his boss.
Investigators say Pedro Torres put insecticide in his boss' thermos after he was denied a pay raise. Authorities say his boss drank the coffee and became ill.
She was treated and released from a local hospital.
Torres is being held on a $25,000 bond.
