HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. — A Western Harnett High School coach is back at work after he was found not guilty of simple assault.
Bill Wyrick, varsity football coach, was found not guilty Friday in Harnett District Court.
School officials said he's been allowed to teach again, and he was back at school on Monday.
Wyrick had been suspended for allegedly slapping a student last month during a weightlifting class.
