Drug Bust In Eastern Wake County Nets Large Seizure Of Narcotics

RALEIGH, N.C. — A combined investigation conducted by the Wake County Sheriff's Office, Drug Enforcement Administration, Raleigh Police Department and Wilson Police Department resulted in a large drug arrest in Eastern Wake County Thursday night.

Three suspects were arrested, and more than $130,000 worth of cocaine was seized.

Arrested were 27-year-old Tressa Brantley, 37-year-old Cecil Fleming and 29-year-old Terrence Cooke. They were charged with federal distribution of coach base.

The items seized were 1,130 grams of powder cocaine, 85.3 grams of crack cocaine, three firearms, currency and cell phones.

The total street value of the seized narcotics was $130,060.

The investigation is continuing.
