FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Sheriff's deputies have made two arrests involving high school students who brought a gun to school.

Authorities arrested a 15-year-old Westover High School student and charged him with possession of a weapon on educational property. Authorities say the school resource officer was notified that witnesses had observed the juvenile place a unloaded semiautomatic handgun into an unoccupied locker.

Authorities found that the juvenile was the owner of the handgun and had given the gun to a 16-year-old friend Friday and asked him to bring it to him at school on Monday.

Samuel Fedrick, 16, of Fayetteville was arrested Tuesday and charged with possession of a weapon on educational property, aiding and abetting a minor to possess a weapon, and felony conspiracy.

Authorities say Fedrick was driven to the school to deliver the gun by a 19-year-old friend, Jahmire Alexander Lanard Williams, of Fayetteville. Williams has not been located and is known by the street name of "Tank."

Anyone with information regarding Williams' whereabouts should call the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office at
