— A Wayne County teenager who died on the way to school last month has been honored posthumously.

Seventeen-year-old Michael Lugo has been awarded a "Teaching Fellowship" by the state.

Lugo died in a crash that also killed his brother and a family friend. His sister is still recovering at Pitt Memorial Hospital.
