CARY, N.C. — Wake County has landed its first four-star hotel.
Construction has already started on the Renaissance Hotel, which is part of the Marriott group. The building will be located at the corner of Harrison Avenue and Weston Parkway in Cary.
The hotel is expected to open in late 2004 or early 2005.
The hotel complements 18,000 square feet of office space, 131,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space and high-end residential condominiums planned for the area.
