FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police started Tuesday pulling over tractor-trailers on Murchison Road.
Truckers, who did not have business on Murchison Road, received a $250 fine.
In February, signs were posted saying trucks were not allowed to use the road as a throughway.
The new rules follow several accidents involving the rigs and complaints from people along the road.
