WAKE COUNTY, N.C. — The Wake County Sheriff's Office arrested Jevone Maurice Monk, a suspect in a home invasion case, early Tuesday morning. Authorities were responding to a tip that the suspect was in Harnett County.
The Harnett County Sheriff's Office, along with a Harnett County probation officer, captured Monk and turned him over to Wake County authorities.
The Wake County Sheriff's Office was looking for Monk in connection with a home invasion that occurred March 9. Monk is being charged with kidnapping, burglary, armed robbery and conspiracy.
Two other suspects, Karen Lisa Atkins and Otis Ray Covington, were arrested March 24.
Monk is being held in the Wake County Jail on $600,000 bond.
