Drivers Face Fines For Blocking Cary Intersections

Posted Updated

CARY, N.C. — Cary police are cracking down on drivers who get stuck in the middle of intersections.

They are targeting a number of trouble spots this week, including the corner of Chatham and Academy Streets and Buck Jones Road at U.S. 1.

The city fine for blocking an intersection is $100, but officers can cite drivers for breaking the state law, which can affect insurance rates.
