WAKE COUNTY, N.C. — The Wake County Sheriff's Office has made an arrest in an attempted robbery and murder.

Authorities said Christopher Devon Curtis, 22, was found shot to death at a home on Powder Horn Court early Thursday morning.

The Sheriff's Office arrested Marvin Lamont Curtis, 23, the uncle of the deceased. He is charged with second-degree kidnapping, robbery with a deadly weapon and first-degree burglary.

Iesha Renee Davis, who lived at the residence with her two children, told deputies that two suspects accosted Christopher Curtis in their yard and forced their way into the house in an apparent robbery attempt.

Authorities said Davis and her children fled the house and went to a neighbor's where they called 911.

The investigation into the crimes continues. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Wake County Sheriff's Office at (919) 856-6800.
