FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Commissioners in Cumberland County voted Monday to temporarily postpone a vote on changing the sales tax distribution formula.
A majority of the board feels they need the extra $4 million in tight budget times to make up for annexation by Fayetteville.
The vote was delayed to allow further finanical negotiations with the city.
County leaders will now vote on April 22.
