RALEIGH, N.C. — A measure to legalize left turns on red is cruising its way through the North Carolina Legislature.
The House judiciary committee voted to send left-turn legislation on to the full House.
Advocates for the blind say the bill will make the streets more dangerous for them. Supporters say the change would save gas, time and money.
The bill made it through the House last year, but later died in the Senate.
