Utilities Commission Approves Gas Company's Request For Rate Increase

RALEIGH, N.C. — The cost of gas that heats your home is also going up.

The North Carolina Utilities Commission has approved PSNC Energy's request for a 14.9 percent increase.

The hike goes into effect for March bills.

On average, customers will pay about $110 more a year.
