Garner Police Seek Bank Robber

GARNER, N.C. — Garner police are looking for an African-American male suspect who robbed the KS Bank at 920 7th Avenue on Friday.

According to police, the suspect entered the bank about 5:58 p.m., provided the teller with a note that said he had a weapon and demanded money.

The robber escaped with an undetermined amount of money.

The suspect was described as a black male, between 20-29 years old, standing between 5-18 and 5-10, with black hair in braids or short dreadlocks.

The suspect reportedly was wearing a black hat with a red bill and red and yellow writing on the front, glasses, black jacket, burgundy hooded, zip-up sweatshirt and baggy dark trousers.

The FBI and the Garner Police Department are seeking information that will aid in the arrest of this suspect. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact the FBI at
