Wake School Board Receives New Student Reassignment Plan

RALEIGH, N.C. — The

Wake County school board

received a revised student reassignment plan on Tuesday.

Officials say the new plan affects more than 2,300 children, which is a smaller number than the plan presented last month.

However, the new plan includes some new neighborhoods and predominantly affects fast-growing southwest Wake County.
