Raleigh Police Investigate Possible Hit-And-Run Resulting In New Year's Day Fatality

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are looking for a Royal blue 1996 Ford F-150 in connection with a possible hit-and-run Wednesday morning that killed a man on Six Forks Road. The truck may have damage to the right front.

Police say that, around 7 a.m., a man was killed when he was hit by a truck driving north on Six Forks. The northbound lane was shut down for a while after investigators converged on the scene.

The fatality reportedly occurred in front of The Landings at Mallard Pond Apartments.
