DURHAM, N.C. — The Durham City Council delayed a decision on a controversial apartment building.
A developer wants to build 11 units on Cole Mill Road. Right now, an empty home sits on the proposed site.
Homeowners in the area do not want the addition to their neighborhood.
The City Council was expected to vote on the plan Tuesday. Instead, members turned the plan over to the Appearance Commission for a recommendation.
