DUDLEY, N.C. — Many teens and teachers at
Southern Wayne High School
are holding off on getting haircuts until February.
At that time, their locks will be trimmed and the hair will be donated to
Wigs for Kids
. The organization provides wigs for children battling cancer.
Teacher Mike Heywood is asking students across eastern North Carolina to join the cause.
Anyone interested in participating can call Southern Wayne H.S. at (919) 705-6060.
