FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A Fayetteville man is hospitalized after he was severely beaten by an intruder inside his home Tuesday night.
Fayetteville police said John Boyce had just returned home from a walk with his wife around 9:30 p.m.
When the couple entered their home on the 200 block of Law Road, Boyce was attacked.
He is being treated at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
The intruder has not been located.
