CARY, N.C. — One person is dead after a wreck near the Crossroads area of Cary Thursday morning.
Cary police said a pickup truck cut off a tractor-trailer on the ramp from U.S. 1 North to Interstate 40 East at 9:37 a.m.
The impact sent the pickup out of control and into a guardrail.
Judith Bobeck, of Holly Springs, a passenger in the pickup was killed.The driver, Ronald Bobeck, of Zebulon, is in stable condition at WakeMed.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not hurt.
