Fayetteville Man Charged With Abusing Baby

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A Fayetteville man is behind bars on charges of abusing his baby.

Police charged Christopher Miles with felony child abuse after picking him up at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Miles' 2-month-old son is currently on life support.

Miles is hearing-impaired, and police say through an interpreter they discovered he was responsible for the baby's injuries.

Miles is in the Cumberland County jail.
