Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police have recovered a stolen car that they believe was used in a deadly shooting at a fast-food restaurant.

Police had been looking for a green BMW since Sunday night. Police say three armed men carjacked it from a car wash on New Bern Avenue. Police say they then drove it to the Sonic Restaurant on Atlantic Avenue, robbed it and shot Donald Kersey in the face.

Kersey died Monday. Police are still searching for the three suspects.
