FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police found more human remains in a wooded area downtown. The discovery comes a day after a skull was found near the Airborne and Special Operations Museum.
On Wednesday, police found a skeleton in a shallow grave. They are sending the remains to Chapel Hill to try and identify the person.
A man walking in the woods discovered the skull Tuesday on Hillsboro Street, behind the Airborne and Special Operations Museum.
