NCSU Senior Struck By Car, Killed

RALEIGH, N.C. — A North Carolina State University student is dead after being hit by a vehicle while standing in his driveway Early Friday morning.
Raleigh police said the accident happened on Brooks Avenue near Hillsborough Street around 1:30 a.m.
Police said Jennifer Robinson, 23, of Florida was driving a Ford Explorer when she failed to make a turn, ran off the road and into the driveway in the 200 block of Brooks Ave.
Scott Warren Brown, 22, a senior at N.C. State was struck and killed.
Police said Robinson is in the hospital being treated for facial and internal injuries. Police said she faces DWI and manslaughter charges.
