Imagination Station
has moved back out of its temporary facility and into a roomier, redone building.
An electrical fire forced the museum out of the building in January 2000.
The museum staff said they are grateful to Wilson residents who donated their time and money to bring the museum back to life.
"Without that support, donations and other support we would not be here. It's so important for us to be here, so we can continue to serve the community. A big thank you to everyone who helped out," said Imagination Station Director Jerry Reynolds.
If donations continue, the museum would like to expand its animal facility and several other exhibits.
