DURHAM, N.C. — A Virginia man has been arrested and charged with killing a co-worker at the Super 8 Motel on Guess Road.
Officers were called to the motel at early Thursday morning to check on adisturbance. When they arrived, Adam Gibson, 35, of Kingsport, Tenn., was found dead. Investigators say he was beaten to death.
Officers later arrested Dylan Reece Benton, 42, of Hiltons, Va., and charged him with murder.
Both men worked at Long Foundation Drilling Co., located in Hermitage, Tenn.
