Blood Drive Kicks Off In Chapel Hill

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — The American Red Cross and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill are teaming up, and they need your help.

The 14th Annual Carolina Blood Drive got under way at 7 a.m. Tuesday at the Dean Smith Center. It is the second largest blood drive in the country.

If you have never given blood, there are extra incentives for you. First-time donors will receive a T-shirt and lots of other goodies.
