<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — Cumberland County investigators say a Fort Bragg soldier confessed to killing his wife and burying her.

Detectives recovered Jennifer Wright's body about three miles into the woods off Plank Road on Fort Bragg.

She was last seen at her home in the Arran Lake Subdivision on June 29.

Authorities said 1st Sgt. William Wright led them to the body. He has just returned from Afghanistan.
