Fireworks Being Sold To Help Knightdale Police

KNIGHTDALE, N.C. — A nonprofit group has chosen an unique way to help raise money for the Knightdale Police Department.

Concerned Citizens of Knightdale are selling fireworks in the Wal-Mart parking lot on Highway 64.

They hope to raise thousands of dollars to fund a new K-9 unit for the police department.

Organizers say they made sure to get all the building and fire permits to ensure everyone they are selling legal fireworks.
