FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Divers have found the body of a man who drowned in the Cape Fear River.
Tim Bill was boating with some friends and his 8-year-old grandson Sunday afternoon when witnesses said he decided to jump into the river.
Bill never resurfaced.
After searching for several hours Sunday, divers resumed their search early Monday morning and retrieved the body.
Bill's family believes he may have suffered a seizure in the water.
