Fort Bragg Soldiers Charged With Abusing 4-Month-Old Son

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Two Fort Bragg soldiers are behind bars, charged with abusing their 4-month-old son.
Jeff Albright, 21, was charged with three counts of Felony Child Abuse. He was also charged with two counts of Assault With a Deadly Weapon With Intent Two Kill Inflicting Serious Injury and one count of Assault With Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury.
His 20-year-old wife, Tanisha Terry, was charged two counts of Felony Child Abuse.
Cumberland County deputies arrested the couple after a baby sitter noticed Jawan Terry was hurt and took him to Womack Army Hospital.
The infant was transported to UNC Hospitals where he is listed in fair condition.
The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said Jawan suffered broken ribs, a broken leg, two broken ankles, a skull fracture and a subdural hematoma.
Albright is in the Cumberland County jail under a $150,000 secured bond; Terry is jailed under a $60,000 secured bond.
