FORT BRAGG, N.C. — Soldiers at Fort Bragg are a step closer to getting new beds.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held Tuesday for new barracks to house the 82nd Airborne Division.

Many troops currently live in 50-year-old housing that does not even have electricity.

The new barracks will provide soldiers with their own rooms and much more space. It is expected to be complete by 2006.

Tuesday's dedication is part of
