Driver Suffers Diabetic Seizure, Causes Multi-Car Accident In Fuquay-Varina

Sources tell WRAL that a driver hit six cars on southbound Highway 401 before smashing into a minivan. Authorities say the man may have had a diabetic seizure in his vehicle.

"By the time I go to the intersection, I stopped and the next thing I knew I heard tires squealing and I looked up and saw a big, green truck sliding into me," accident victim Joe McKoy said.

Authorities say none of the injuries related to the accident are believed to be life-threatening.
