Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police doubt foul play was involved in the death of a former WakeMed nurse.

Betsy Voigt disappeared last Nov. 20. Two city workers found her body in a section of Walnut Creek, off Buck Jones Road, on March 5.

A preliminary autopsy report shows no signs of trauma.

Investigators have ordered a toxicology report. Police said that several people who saw Voigt before she disappeared said she was intoxicated.
