Fayetteville Police Find Missing K-9

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A Fayetteville police dog is back with her handler after escaping from her kennel Thursday night.

The person who found the dog contacted Fayetteville police Friday night.

The 2-year-old Melanois, named Mira, is a K-9 in training.

Mira is the 12th K-9 on the Fayetteville police force. She arrived from Holland in November.

The dog has been reunited with her handler, Officer Tracey Campbell.
