ROCKY MOUNT — A 6-year-old shot in a

drive-by shooting

Sunday night continues to improve.

Police said that Jasmine Moore was accidentally shot in the chest. She is being treated at Pitt Memorial Hospital where she was upgraded from critical to fair condition on Tuesday.

Five people -- three adults and two minors -- have been arrested in connection with the shooting.

Police believe a 13-year-old pulled the trigger and that the little girl was not the suspect's intended target.
