— How would you like to help design the future look of Raleigh? City planners say they are trying to build a better Raleigh with the help of its residents.

The city is updating its Comprehensive Plan -- a road map for future development. Planners seek the public's opinion on neighborhoods, open space, municipal services and transportation.

The city is asking residents to share their vision by taking its

survey. The survey was also included as an insert in the

on Dec. 11.

The deadline for participation is Dec. 21.
