Cary Family Seeks Return of Pet From Stolen SUV

Posted Updated

CARY — A Cary family is desperately searching for their stolen car and the dog that was inside it.

Monday night, Donna Boles stopped at the All About Kids day care center on Kildare Farm Road to pick up her son. When she got out of the car, she left the keys inside.

While Boles was inside the center, someone stole her white Ford Expedition, along with Chase, the family dog.

The family is offering a $500 reward for the return of the white west highland terrier.

"He's a member of our family. We just love him so much. We miss him and we just want him back home safely," Boles said.

Chase is one and a half years old, neutered and wears a multi-colored collar.

The dog has a microchip with the Boles' home address and phone number. Anyone who finds the dog can take it to a vet for identification.
