JOHNSTON COUNTY — Homeowners in the Waverly Point subdivision say that every time it rains, their front yards flood.
The Johnston County homeowners all moved into their new houses within the last four or five months.
For much of that time, the homeowners have battled with the developer, Son-Lan Development, and the builder, Greg Johnson, but say that neither would do anything about problem. That is when the homeowners contacted 5 On Your Side.
After
airing their story
on Tuesday, one of the homeowners came home find to that her yard was regraded, reseeded and straw was put down.
Both the builder and the developer said that they are willing to sit down to talk about possible solutions.
