RALEIGH, N.C. — Authorities say 17 students from Millbrook High School were injured in a school bus accident in Raleigh.
Their school bus was rear-ended by a car at the intersection of Wake Forest Road and Brookside Drivearound 7 a.m. Tuesday.
Most of the 40 students on the bus received bumps and bruises. Their parents were notified immediately to meet them at local hospitals.
Thirteen people were taken to WakeMed and four others were taken to Raleigh Community Hospital. Raleigh police say all 17 people had minor injuries.
