, was unveiled Thursday by North Carolina's first lady, Mary Easley.
The new site is "kid-tested and librarian approved," offering more than 200 links to age-appropriate Internet sites.
"Not all of the resources are located in the same place in North Carolina," Easley says. "This permits children from all over the state to have access to a rich wealth of knowledge in a fun format and in a safe format."
Designed by the state's librarians, children can access the site at home, at school and in all of North Carolina's public libraries.
